Westrad Radiology established their first practice here in Ipswich February 2009. It is an independent, locally owned Radiology practice. Westrad brings to Ipswich and surrounding regions the highest level of Medical Diagnostic services through investment in cutting edge imaging technology.

This practice is located in the Limestone Street Centre, within the well known medical precinct on the entrance to the city of Ipswich. The Ipswich centre is the community hub for surrounding suburbs and the regions expanding Western Corridor which extends as far as Springfield, Browns Plains, Beaudesert and Toowoomba.

The Dominance of the Limestone Street Centre building offers parking spaces for over 200 cars; it is additionally located within walking distance of bus and taxi ranks on Limestone Street, the main entrance to the city. Westrad services the densely populated medical and paramedical practitioners as well as St Andrew's Private Hospital and Ipswich General Hospital.

The Clinic is comprehensive, incorporating MRI, a "true" 64 slice CT, 4 Ultrasound rooms, General X-ray, OPG and Cephalometry. We have a world class picture archiving communications system (PACS) allowing diagnosis and consultation via tele - radiology enabling diagnosis anywhere, anytime.

In addition to these services Westrad will incorporate a Nuclear Medicine facility within the practice in the near future. The fit-out of our practice is high - quality and assists in stating the high-end image we wish to convey.
