What’s been happening at Westrad ???

The story so far…..

In 2009 we opened our doors to offer Ipswich a world class facility with first class service to the patients and the local community.

We had a rewarding first 12 months for the Doctors and staff at Westrad. This could only have been done with the continued support and encouragement we have received.

Thank you to our referring Doctors and patient’s.

2010 has seen the opening of our new practice at Mt Ommaney.

Our New Practice offers a wide range of radiology with the added advantage of a “Women’s Imaging service”. Women’s health is a topic that we are passionate about. The women’s imaging concept is based upon providing the latest in imaging technology along with a local Female radiologist, technicians and reception staff.

Delivering premium image quality, unparallel radiological expertise with patient care and compassion are the morals that are the foundation upon which this practice was established.

We continue to staff our practices with radiologists who offer a wide spectrum of experience and training. They are assisted by local specially trained technologists, who are qualified in specific areas of expertise. 2010 has seen the arrival of 3 new sonographers with over 60 years experience between them.

We understand how important it is for our Referring Doctors and their patient’s to receive prompt and accurate results. When a health care concern arises, you want quick answers and peace of mind. At Westrad we provide cutting edge diagnostic services with an onsite radiologist at both our practices.

We have continued throughout the last 6 months to upgrade our equipment and continue to offer the highest level of professional services to our Doctors and their patients.

2010 will see the continuation of information evenings and in the near future a new GE 64 Slice CT Scanner in Mt Ommaney. This scanner can capture whole organs in a second or go head to toe in less than 10 seconds - along with the speed comes, arguably the added bonus of the lowest dose of radiation on the market today.

At Westrad we continue to offer exceptional customer service along with respect, honesty and true concern for our patients and their Referring Doctors.
